We are delighted to welcome you to The Inn on 441 -The Charise. This historic home has stood for nearly 140 years, and while she carries the beauty and charm of a bygone era, she also comes with a few quirks along the way. We like to think that is part of her story.

Our goal is to provide a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable stay for every guest. The following policies are in place to ensure a seamless experience for all.

Cancellation Policy

The Inn on 441 is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us.

If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least seven (7) days prior to your arrival date. Cancellations made within this window will receive a refund less a $35 processing fee per room.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than seven (7) days’ notice, shorten your stay, or check out early, you will be responsible for your entire reservation. If we are able to rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund may be issued.

A 30-day cancellation notice is required for whole house bookings and may apply to select holidays and special events.

Rates and policies are subject to change and may vary during high-demand periods or for special requests.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. If you need to arrive outside of this window, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be available upon request for a small fee, depending on availability.

Parking

Complimentary guest parking is located on the South side of the Inn. Please park in designated areas and be mindful of other guests.

Entry & Security

Guests will receive a 4-digit entry code prior to arrival.

Lighting

To maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere, we kindly ask that guests leave entry chandeliers, stair lighting, and exterior lights on at all times.

Guest Experience & Courtesy

The Charise is designed to be a peaceful retreat. As a historic home, sound may travel more easily than in newer properties.

We kindly ask guests to be mindful of noise levels, especially in the evenings, to respect shared spaces and fellow guests, and to treat the home and its furnishings with care.

House Policies

To preserve the experience for all guests:

No smoking is permitted anywhere on the property.
Pets are not allowed.
The Inn welcomes guests ages 16 and older.
Only registered guests are permitted on the property.

In-Room Features & Usage

Many rooms include specialty features designed to enhance your stay.

Detailed instructions for each room are provided in your Guest Room Guide.

Additional Amenities

Complimentary coffee, tea, and water are provided.
Robes are available for use during your stay and may be purchased if desired.
Select items such as clothing steamers or French press coffee makers are available upon request.

Damages & Missing Items

We understand that accidents can happen. Guests are responsible for any damages to the room or property. Missing items, including robes, may be charged to the card on file.
